Difference between Bsc Computer Science and Bachelors of Computer Applications

 Bsc and BCA are two variants In which both are offering computer applications. Yes we do study about computer but bsc is more theory oriented whereas BCA is more practical oriented or application oriented. They might be having things in common but they are totally variants in many sources. Both BCA and BSc are 3 year undergraduate course which will fetch you good career opportunities. BCA in computer applications studies the hardware functions and the technical aspects in a computer whereas BSc deals with the core competencies in the computerized world. It does not focus on the current technologies but gives any student a firm foundation in computers and understanding the concepts. This study includes programming languages, controlling structures etc. After completion of bsc or bca one can do their masters or post graduation in computer applications which will fetch even more good jobs. Post graduation will give an extensive addition to the knowledge gain in your under graduation. Bsc computer science graduates are usually hired by Software developers whereas BCA graduates are hired by top multinational companies such as HCL, TCS, infernos, IBM etc
